Re: 1800's Golden Age
This begs the question. Do we really want to live in a biblical golden age where we get to kill every man, woman, and child of a city we conquered?

Re: 1800's Golden Age
I suppose we will have to wait until Buz explains why the Native Americans, Hawaiians, Mexicans, Spanish were not neighbors. Once that is out of the way we can then move on to other issues like child labor, mill towns, company money, slavery, indentured servitude, women's rights and other things characteristic of the period. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I don't know. We will have to wait until Buz or Dawn Bertot or someone else steps up to give us their rationalization. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Re: 1800's Golden Age
This begs the question. Do we really want to live in a biblical golden age where we get to kill every man, woman, and child of a city we conquered? No, I'm an Atheist and don't believe in killing men, women & children. I'll leave that to the radical right wing Theists. Edited by bluescat48, : added phrase

He also misses part of the story. Generally killing the virgins was frowned upon. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Re: 1800's Golden Age
Custer didn't kill much of anything. What he did kill was mostly old men, women and children. Battle of Washita River - Wikipedia

Yes, it's kind of hard to rape a dead virgin.
