I would suggest that since there is no conscious decision to die, then no - it is not suicide.
Anyway, it is never lupus!

So slamming my car in to a brick wall at full gas is only suicide if i want to die, if my reasons where say testing the airbags i died of a accident only a moron could preform, i would say it is a moron's logic induced suicide.

Well, the logic gets messy if you prohibit people from doing dangerous things.
Would helping people in Somalia be considered suicide due to how dangerous it is?
Would smoking be considered suicide due to it shortening your lifespan?
Would playing russian roulette be considered suicide as there is a very high mortality rate?
Would getting pregnant be considered suicide due to the risk of dying in child-birth.
I think that they have to apply the rule of "wants to die" else virtually everyone could be considered a 'suicider'.
Edited by Panda, : No reason given.

Homicide Bombers
Why isn't martrydom considered suicide? I e, is refusing to give the honors due a classical idol to the Roman emperor in the first century, or to keep your mouth shut about transubstantiation in England in the 16th century, not the same as pointing a gun at a cop and yelling Top of the Word, Maw! or jumping off a chair with your neck roped up?
How about creating a world in which the only solution to the problem of evil is to frame yourself for blasphemy and intentionally get nailed to something? Isn't that an extremely high-level suicide indeed?
Meanwhile, back in the Land of Milk and Honey

In the Jain religion suicide by self-starvation is considered meritorious.
But it' still optional, so there are still Jains. Few people are going to kill themselves just to earn Brownie points.

Not exactly. But in Jainism such a self destruction is approved. It can be resorted to, for example, if someone has incurable disease like cancer. In that respect it is hardly any different from "mercy death" so much advocated in the west. It gains no points, good or bad.
