Sometimes teen girls are self conscious of emerging breasts or lack there of. Do you notice it more in skinny women as opposed to not so skinny women? Sometimes it is hard for larger women to comfortably cross their arms in that fashion. When I was heavier, I didn't cross them much. Not comfortable.

Yes. Definitely seems to be skinnier women. Taller too.(???) Didn't realise you were of the female persuasion til I raised this topic. So at least I've learnt something.

Yes, I do notice it on taller teens and women also. There is also the protective aspect sometimes. Get into a crowd with a lot of elbows and ow. Protect the chest. It may be a natural defense for the chest area.

When I was in high school, back in the Neolithic Age, girls used to carry their books cradled in both arms like a baby and boys carried theirs in one hand at their sides like a spear. (Not my imagery. I read about it somewhere.) I don't know if they still do that (or even if they still use books) but I suppose it's a related phenomenon.
I rode off into the sunset, went all the way around the world and now I\'m back where I started.
