Well I work round the corner from the British museum and pop in there occasionally at lunchtimes.
Geez, some guys have all the luck. I work around the corner from the intersection of routes 3 and 495.

Well I guess there are pros and cons to life in big cities. Easy access to stuff like that is a definite bonus.
I am a big fan of the London museums in general (well in fact museums in general - but the London ones are the ones I know best). Went to college next door to the science and natural history museums in Kensington and was always in and out of those. These days I regularly take my son who is at that age where dinosuars and the animatronic TRex in particular hold a particular fascination.
The British museum does sleepover events for kids as well which I would love to take him to when a bit older.
British Museum writes:
There are four sleepovers a year when you can spend the night exploring the Museum after dark!
There’s a great range of things to get involved in, from storytelling and crafts activities to talks by curators on the permanent collection or current exhibitions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover the Museum and learn more about the collection — and you can bring your friends along too!

End shameless museum plug.
