Weird screw up (extraneous "/url" showing).
And then there are the p-adic numbers -->p-adic numbers
(added comments)
This is weirder than I thought. The original text I used was:
And then there are the (i)p(/i)-adic numbers except that I used square brackets that I have replaced here by parens to illustrate what I used. Not only does it display wrongly, but on edit or peek it has a lot of inserted html. The dbcode for italics seems to confuse the parser.
You've found one of the holes in the parser - you can't safely embed dBCodes inside the URL dBCode at present. --Percy

Test General Reply
Catholic Scientist seemed to indicate he was having a problem with general reply, so giving it a try...

Problem?
Are you still experiencing the problem you were having?

Re: Problem?
I've been too busy to post lately. But with a quick try just now, I was unable to reproduce the problem.

Signature test
This is a quick test of signature.
Here is what was in the signature (in my profile). Use "peek" to see the original:
Jesus was a liberal hippie
And here it is again, but this time with additional coding so that you can see without having to use "peek":
Jesus was a liberal hippie

Jesus was a liberal hippie

Signature test
Let me whip mine out to compare sizes.

Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. -- Thomas Jefferson
We see monsters where science shows us windmills. -- Phat
It has always struck me as odd that fundies devote so much time and effort into trying to find a naturalistic explanation for their mythical flood, while looking for magical explanations for things that actually happened. -- Dr. Adequate
...creationists have a great way to detect fraud and it doesn't take 8 or 40 years or even a scientific degree to spot the fraud--'if it disagrees with the bible then it is wrong'.... -- archaeologist

Re: Signature test
The size looks the same to me.
Overall, the smaller size does improve your signature - it makes it easier to distinguish from the post.
