I think that evolution was God's way of creating life, and that at one point in time God created the Garden of Eden and made Adam and Eve the first intelligent beings with souls on earth. Sure, the bible says that the earth was created in 6 days. But does 6 days always equal 6 24-hour periods? after all, the whole concept of night and day was created by God in one day... but days didn't fully exist yet...
God is immortal, time has no effect on His infinite rule. If He lasts forever, what's to say that our idea of day is the ONLY length of time that can exist?
