Another possible explanation for the non-looting of the alledged murder victim:
They believed his spirit would haunt his possessions.
Religion poisons everything, even our favorite pastimes.

Interessant. Welcome to EvC.
In that case I wouldn't call it religion 'poisoning' anything. Or even see it as substantially different from any of the 'non-religious' possibilities already discussed. The killers recognize they have violated a taboo and fear adverse consequences if they keep the belongings. They project these realizations into an unseen world as 'spirit' activity but the realizations are sane enough.
Religions are symbol systems. Symbols mean things.

Quote1) How do you know the body is 5,700 years old? Were you there when he died?
(2) Dating technigues are flawed. I'm not going to say why, but they are obviously flawed.
(3) This is just another part of the liberal agenda to make people doubt god.
(4) The fact that science had to change the story about how he died is very telling of how science is never right. The book of truth (the bible), on the other hand, never changes, so we know for sure that there is only one truth.

The guy you're replying to isn't a real creationist, but was satirizing them. Misleading, I know, and perhaps not a good idea.
But even if he were a real creationist, you wouldn't even get evidence, let alone proof, as I'm sure you know.
Welcome to EvC and its confusion.

Your statement is worthless unless you state why it is obviously flawed.

TAZMANIAN DEVIL
Taz, the problem with making silly statements in a parody of creationists is that they sound exactly like the things that a creationist would say.
Newcomers to the site can understandably get confused, as has happened to bluescat in the posts above.
Could you put him out of his misery?
