Broad topic threads created broad problems
It seems like Beretta's new thread is too 'big' for its britches. Neither side can focus as long as short, unfocused responses are simply lobbed at each other, each of which probably contains a whole host of potential focused topics.
Perhaps in the excitement of new creationist 'blood' and the desire to attract more creationist posters has decreased the amount of rigor in approvals? I for one would like to see Admins turn that thread into a spring board for more focused discussion about any number of the various issues being brought up.

Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

Re: Broad topic threads created broad problems
I dunno. The title is "Your reason for accepting evolution". Beretta is claiming that your reason is that you want to deny God, and that you've been bombarded with evolution dogma since you were little.
That is also part of the problem. It may belong in a different forum. It also should be framed in a way that specifically addresses the claim that evolutionists are godless. But the way it is framed, you could literally have any kind of discussion about why you accept evolution.
There should perhaps be a thread called, "People believe in evolution just to deny God" in one of the theology forums.
That may be wrong, but it sounds on topic to me.
Which begs the question, what substantial discussion about evolution would NOT be on topic in that thread?
