Cold blooded --> warm blooded
So, birds evolved from dinosaurs (reptiles). Its pretty obvious just by looking at an Emu and a Therapod fossil. (I actual saw an Emu face to face a short time ago and damn if it didn't LOOK like a dinosaur.)
So my short question is:
How did they go from cold blooded to warm blooded?
It had to have been gradual, right?
Anybody got any links to an explanation for me?
Just wondering, thanks in advance.

Not a short question type of post
I'm treating this as an OP in proposed topics. This is not the right place for it so I am promoting it to "Biological Evolution".
