This may be out of bounds, but as Herapton did it also (though not in precisely the same way I'm about to . . . )
If have argued his points that he made in his OP. He has yet to respond to them, instead focusing on a minor issue to the discussion. He is derailing his own thread, and refuses to answer any thing I brought up. I didn't ask permission to be ignored--I asked permission to debate him, and so far, it is HE who has done the real evasion (in my opinion of course, but you read the thread for yourself) He wants an evolutionist, he got two--EZ and me. My guess is that anymore for him will not matter--he will ignore them. Basically, I'm asking if you can have him actually reply to my major points, and not focus on a somewhat irrelevant issue. ABE: I just reread the thread by Herapton and my responses to his OP.He can claim all he wants that since no evolutionist is accepting his ideas that we aren't embracing the idea of falsification. Problem is, he isn't accepting the possibility that he is wrong, as evidenced by his assertion that if no one responds then they are too scared to actually have their beliefs challenged. Hey, if he can use that sort of screwy logic, then I can too. After all, from what I understand, the Showcase forum is a no-holds barred match-up (or whatever the heck that idiomatic prhase is). I say let him actually answer my points before giving his someone else. (not that I have any authority what-soever, of course ![]() Edited by kuresu, : No reason given. Herapton finally replied, and now I find that I've no posting priveleges in the showcase forum? When were they suspended? Or is it just an accident?

Yeah, I know Admin gave me permission, and I made quite a few posts, but earlier today I had no privelges. It must have been a glitch somewhere (on my computer or maybe the server) because I now can, for the second time.

not more meaningless objections. Try looking at it again. I don't think it was a point raised by Modulus, so I wanted to raise it. All you did was evade.

And you handwaved us all in regards to that issue. Looks like we're right, as all you've done is to handwave us off without actually responding to how being subjective can be science.

I resent your argument that I will never have an argument against your position because I for the moment want to get what you are saying. Only then will I be able to argue against you. Put simply, you have a much different defintion of "creationism" than I've ever seen. If I don't understand what you are trying to argue for, how can I attack it? If I got your arguement right, then I've got an argument to destroy your position. So, will you deal me in again or not?

I think you're afraid. Very afraid. Why not welcome debate. What fun is it to post a position and declare that noone can debate with you? I'd say not very.

unfortunately, yes. It is very hard to resist the temptation to take it from the schoolyard to the classroom. And I'm guilty of it.

hear hear, I second that motion. Not that I've any power on this board, it is, after all, not a democracy in the true sense (but, I do get to vote in the next elections--yay!)

especially when they claim that there "theories" are not to be held to the same rules as our theories. That's a major problem. It's not that I can't take the heat, but when they handwaive and evade, and then accuse us of doing it . . . ergh. Of course, this might need a new topic, seeing as how it's supposed to be solely for requests to debate, and we've already gotten into trouble for debating on this thread (and I'm quite guilty of this

explain AdminFaith and AdminBuzsaw, why don't ya.
why does everything ahve to conspiracy theories with you guys. If it wasn't for the fact that it was americans who put a man on the moon, you would probably claim it was some sort of vast atheistic, marxist conspiracy to trick yuo and your ilk that communism was supreme. sheez.
