Can we get Lam's puppies off the front page, already? I mean sure, they're cute, but Lam doesn't even seem to post anymore! Enough with the homage to his puppies!

Did the sneaky man change his name on me?
Either way, I think my main point stands... cute puppies... enough is enough!

Would you rather see my apple tree in my back yard? Perhaps my pear tree is more interesting? How about my roommate?
But anyway, I'll start working on a new POM.

Be careful what you wish for Dan, you may get cute foxes instead! That'll really wind you up

May I suggest using a picture from this wonderful page full of evolutionary transitional forms?

true transitionals
I wonder if these images are at all indicative of what some creationists expect a transition to look like?
(My favorite is the frog-anteater-moose-leopard, in case you were wondering...)

Yeah, I think that was the idea. I used the koalas with flippers for desktop wallpaper for a month or so.

God damn, people... I'm pretty sure the Huntington Gorge has been up ever since the puppies came down.

Why don't you volunteer to create the picture of the month/year/decade?
BTW, what do you have against puppies? I haven't been here long enough to see them, but they're always cute and cuddly.

My sense of humor would take over, and we'd be left with a drawing of a monkey clubbing Jesus with a biology textbook.

Nothing. I happen to be a cat person, but I like puppies well enough. They were just up for fifty years or so, and it's supposed to be "of the month."

i'll volunteer to be the POM person if no one else has a frothy mouth for it. i'll have a new picture up on the 1st of every month. it will hopefully be relevant, but might not be at all. you get what you pay for with me. hell. it might be my boobs. which will get like 1/4 of the votes. 1/2 don't want boobs, the other 1/4 like ittybittytitties.

Well.. Picture of the month just got a whole lot more interesting...
I felt cheated when given the prospect of a picture of some nice 'puppies', but it seems the injustice is being corrected.

Yes, well, uh, if you could send me yur prtfolio gzbh...whoops, excuse the typos, saliva somehow on the keyboard...
Seriously this time, the only requirement for picture of the month is that it tie in somehow to the creation/evolution debate. I think boobs would make a great picture of the month because of the tie-in to sexual selection, but unfortunately it might cause us to get on "contains sexual content" lists, which would result in us being blocked by many corporations, not that anyone here ever posts from work, so boobs are probably out.
But if you still have an interest then send an email to Admin from your preferred email address and I'll send you the instructions. It's pretty simple. Knowledge of HTML helps, but even those who don't know it just follow the template.

I'm sorry Lam, your puppies have officially been upstaged.
