Lagrange point
Is there such a thing as a Lagrange point for a photon near a black hole? Do photons ever orbit anything?

Red on blue
Does anyone else have trouble reading red text on a blue background like Moose’s essential links reminder? Does anyone know why that happens? It seems to me that there is good contrast between the two colours but it looks fuzzy to me.

Re: Polling Feature
I was thinking that it might be informative to have the ability to conduct a pre and post debate poll. So, for example, say the topic is gun control in the US. Before the debate begins a poll is taken of all the people who wish to express an opinion about the matter. Then the poll is recorded and closed and the debate ensues. After the debate is closed the same people who participated originally are polled again.

Re: Please name this fallacy
Round these parts this is affectionately known as the Stupid Fucking Idiot Fallacy but isn't it just a non sequitur? “We fixed the bridge and it didn't fall down so therefore we didn't need to fix the bridge.” Or a misattribution of cause.
