I like the cool blue - is it staying or are you just trying some different things out?

My eyes! The goggles they do nothing!
While I welcome the change from the brown, this blue is just too bright IMO. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

I think there needs to be a greater contrast between "used" links and "unused" links, if you get what I mean. That is, on my screen, all of the links on the page look almost the same colour. It can be hard to tell what has been clicked on and what hasn't. Does that make sense? In any case, it isn't a big deal. I just thought I'd mention it since we were talking about it anyway. All good. Ferret brain activity increased just 20 percent when looking at Keanu Reeves compared to looking at darkness, the study found.

The blue is too much like the white... I think it's messing with my eyes and giving me a headache.

The old colours were much better. Perhaps because they were complimentary.

I had a monitor that broke, by shifting everything slightly into the blue - and I thought it had just happened again. I'm not a fan - it looks slightly blurry to me.

I cooled off the blues a bit, more towards the turquoise.

I like the shade of blue you had up earlier better than this, for what that's worth.
I think light blue falls in the region of the spectrum that's supposed to evoke peace and tranquility. Is that the idea behind the change? W.W.E.D.?

The color itself is great. Unfortunately, there isn't enough contrast between the links and the background.

Contrast between link and visited is too small. Can't tell them apart easily. Over all, needs more contrast.

Yesterday I was looking for an old post of mine that used Marston Bates' book "The Forest and the Sea" and could not find it with the forum search engine.
I then did GOOGLE on "site: Marston Bates" and found it. Can google site search be added as an option? compare Fiocruz Genome and fight Muscular Dystrophy with Team EvC! I have it as a firefox extension if you use firefox. I had a thread on it a while back - do a google search for it and it should pop up

Google search is very thorough and powerful, but it won't tell you the thread and forum of posts, can't do title searches, can't search by author, and isn't sorted by date.
Evc Forum's search function only keeps a short history in popular forums, meaning you won't find old posts. The search feature is also a cause of slow performance when posting new messages and editing old ones. dBoard 3.0, coming later this year, not only remedies these problems, but will come with sorting features not currently available at any board to my knowledge. Once the search results appear, you'll be able to click on column headers to sort by that column. Clicking again will reverse the sort. Possible future enhancements after the release include allowing the user to select which column headers he wants, and allowing specification of more search fields, such as reply-to, reply-from, number of responses, whether edited, etc. --Percy

I know that you are getting close to the next release, so it may be too late to incorporate this, but ...
How about some way to automatically truncate long urls while preserving the link?
