When I complete my current set of changes I'll set up a test board for you.

Looks a bit like the error Buz reported in Message 35. Perhaps, the response from Admin helps.

If you still have the text of the message itself that you were trying to send can you post it to this thread? Thanks.

I recreated the message and resent. Went through. I did use " marks in the original and removed them. I sent a msg to you using " marks too and that worked fine. Not sure what it could have been. But works now so all is well in the world.

Okay, thanks for trying to reproduce the problem. Let me know if it happens again. I was guessing that single quotes weren't being properly handled, but they work for me. My guess is still single quotes as the cause, but maybe more than one in some circumstance the code somehow doesn't handle.

Click on "refresh" or "reload", then try again. Let me know if this doesn't fix it.

After some problems I got the message to post.
I think I may have some problems within my computer. I've been having problems getting some sites to load enough to see the page, and many other times the page displays but never completes loading (or at least the browser thinks it's not complete). Running McAfee right now - Shall see if something shows up. Moose Added by edit: This message posted without any problems. Edited by Minnemooseus, : See above.

The behavior you're seeing is consistent with an incomplete page load. Form submissions rely upon Javascript, and the Javascript is loaded separately from the main page. If you right click on "View Source" (or equivalent) you'll see the Javascript statements near the top of the page, e.g.:
<script src="http://www.evcforum.net//dBoard.js"></script> Most pages at a website rely upon the same Javascript and CSS files, and so they are only loaded the first time you visit a site. After that they're only loaded if you click on "Reload" or "Refresh."

I just logged on today. I don't like things that are different. Hurts my eyes.

My autistic streak likes the regularity of the activity meters, but they do seem to dominate the page. I think I prefer the old style, where there was no background to the meter and it simply progresses from left to right. It makes a better visual differentiation between quiet and active threads and keeps most of the page clean.
