Paula Rose seems like an otherwise very nice kid who lacks a conscience and can't resist going with what she feels. She's taken to participating primarily in [forum=-14] threads, so her presence will not be missed by any serious discussion, and this moderator has no problem with the length of the suspension.A noticeable number of current participants seem to believe that ignorance should not be an impediment to their participation in discussion. Much of this attitude seems to be driven by a belief that no one who actually knows anything substantial about science could possibly be participating at a mere Internet forum, but this belief is wrong. Many participants here know a great deal about science, and EvC Forum prefers informed discussion.
