Yes, I would be in favor of that. If Jesus Christ is truth, then the truth will prevail.
You would be in favor of Satanists teaching about their religion in the public schools?
I call bullshit on that.

OK, fine, I'll format it the way you want
quote:
Just wondering, during that court case, did they put their left hand on a bible, and swear to tell the truth?
Yes, they did.
Did you know that the the parents bringing the suit were Jewish?
Do you classify Jews as "Athiests" now?
----------------
You are equating a lack of any indocrination in any religion with indoctrination in Atheism.
This is an error of thinking on your part.
----------------
Let's say that we put state-bankrolled prayer back into schools.
This would mean that the government would be able to choose and regulate everything regarding the manner in which that prayer will be done.
Does this sound like something the US government should be involved with?

Re: To clear things up a bit...

The Left doesn’t want us to worship God and follow His commandments, but they would like us to worship the gods of ultra-tolerance on the graven altar of moral relativism.
Jimmy Carter, Rev. Al Sharpton, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Jesse Jackson don't want us to worship God, and instead would like us to worship the gods of ultra-tolerance on the graven altar of moral relativism?
And, by the way, were you planning on crediting Hans Zeiger, the ultra-right wing Fascist Christian wacko who is a student at Hillsdale College in Michigan, for the quote you used?

Re: It's up to the parents
riverrat writes:
this is my country just as much as an atheist. I havge no problem if the schools teach about both. I pay a huge amount of school taxes, and our schools are fairly decent. I will teach my kids their faith, even if the schools omit it, and are Godless for the momment.
No this is all our country, not yours to act like a selfish oaf. It does not matter if you have a problem( where do they teach atheism exactly) with the schools teaching both, its what the laws of the country allow! Good teach your kids your cult of faith I don't care just stop trying to shove it down other americans throats! And you still failed to answer "why dont you, riverrat, place your children in a school of your choice"
ABE: I pay taxes also this still did not stop us from placing our children in a private school!
