Brian writes: I asked if a born again child of God did not do the things you said people were doing to be rewarded in the hearafter what would happen to them.
You didnt ask this you asked: "What will happen to a born again child of God's?" In Message 37 I asked in response to your statement taken from Message 36: "What will happen to a born again child of God's?" Your message 36
Christians reach out to others in gestures of Love and kindness, as instructed from scripture.
And scripture is quite clear about what will happen if you do not reach out to others with love and kindness. Yahweh is very good at threatening people into doing what He wants them to, and Christians will do it because they know how evil and jealous yahweh is.
My message 37
Brian writes: And scripture is quite clear about what will happen if you do not reach out to others with love and kindness. ICANT writes: What will happen to a born again child of God's? So if a born again child of God does not reach out to others with what you call love and kindness I ask again, What will happen to the born again child of God? God Bless, "John 5:39 (KJS) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

Eternal barbeque, just like LinearAg quoted it to you. I answered your question in post 43.
Anyway, your born again child of God who doesn't beg the ass off God and doesn't do good deeds will join 'their father the devil'.

Should that matter? How about you just read the scripture that was pointed out to you.
Youll be going to hell, if you dont help others, (And if you touch your wife while she has her period, and if you do not kill the infidels like jebus said you should) it dosent matter if you accepted jebus as your savior or some of that shit. That whole born again thing is NOT something christian.

Coragyps could I ask, where you got your degree in theology? I don't have one - mine are both in chemistry. If I had taken theology, would they have taught me, "Oh, Jesus didn't really mean what he said there?" Probably depends on what school you went to. I was taught to ask 5 questions about any scripture. I was also taught in journalism class the same 5 questions. Who, What, Where, When and Why. Answers to those questions can shed a lot of light on what is being said in any conversation. So, an overly subjective establishment, and not even a university!

Who, What, Where, When and Why. Bit of a nightmare applying these questins to the Gospels, given that they were all anonymous and difficult to date.

Florida Baptist college is only accredited by National Association of Schools of Music.
It really dosent look like you got a real degree so to speak, so if you are trying to invalidate peoples responses because they dont have degrees in theology, you failed, because neither do you. Besides, if people have degrees or not is irrelevant. The courses the college offer seems interesting though:Keyboarding I (SU-101) This course will train students in the basics of the computer keyboard while developing proper typing skills. World Religions and Cults (BI-312)In this course, the religions of the world are examined and compared to the Word of God. Students will learn the history, practices, and errors of false religions. Within this penetrating study, students will learn how to witness to others involved in these religions. Marriage and Family (ED-421)This course provides a Biblical study of marriage and the family. Myths will be dispelled and solid principles will be presented for establishing relationships that last. Edited by rbp, : No reason given.

rbp writes: Florida Baptist college is only accredited by National Association of Schools of Music. I have no idea what school you are talking about. The School I attended in Lakeland Fl. in 1965 ceased to exist in the late 70's. At the time I attended Florida Baptist College in Lakeland Fl. The teachers were all certified by Bob Jones University.
rbp writes: Besides, if people have degrees or not is irrelevant. I agree as it only states someone attended classes and met certain minimum requirements. Some can even be purchased over the internet. The proof of the pudding is in the palatability of the pudding. I think I will skip the course on marriage. My wife and I celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary last evening. Brian writes: Bit of a nightmare applying these questins to the Gospels, given that they were all anonymous and difficult to date. Brian assuming the above statement to be correct which I do not. Could you explain to me why Matthew 24:1, 2 is written in future tense. A prediction of something that was going to happen in the future. If it had already come to pass in 70 AD? God Bless, "John 5:39 (KJS) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

Have you ever heard of 'making a prediction after the fact'. A great way to impress the gullible, by claiming you made a prediction before it happened, but only actually made the prediction after the fact.
