I couldn't find anything on poultices but did find they are absorbing EDTA now through the colon. Have you got colonal mucosa for skin? I don't, and L. didn't appear to. I rather doubt that skin is a permeable as gut. Changing your nickname hasn't helped your coherency much, either.

Couldn't find anything on your poultice seems they all are doing oral EDTA chelation by the gut method because of better absorbtion, bypassing the liver, etc... Bypassing the liver? WTF? Are the livers of people that go to these charatans for EDTA enemas not connected to their bloodstreams? How the hell do you think something you swallow or inject gets to your liver? The only way there is through your bloodstream! Quackery like that deserves jail time, IMNSHO!

Bypassing the liver? WTF? I don't see why EDTA would not detox the liver too, but initially its absorbed directly into the blood stream sort of like how sublingual supplements too are bypassing the liver. ====================================================== All Free Form Amino Acids, including oral liquid EDTA, need no digestive process to enter the bloodstream. They are already small enough molecules to enter the bloodstream immediately; and that's why they are used so effectively in I.V. parenteral solutions. Thus all Free Form Amino Acids, including liquid EDTA, will pass unharmed and unchanged into the duodenum where they then are directly assimilated into the bloodstream. Again, they are not, as mistakenly alleged by some, broken down or destroyed by the gastric processes. EDTA Therapy Effectiveness & Absorption | Cardio Renew Edited by reversespin, : No reason given. I'm leaning EDTA poultices or oral EDTA is not something one should do without an integrated alternative medical doctor. How about a real doctor? I'm curious. Have these poultices ever been analyzed for the substances they are supposed to be extracting? Is there any real evidence for the effects you seem to be promoting?

All Free Form Amino Acids, including oral liquid EDTA,.... Oh my dear sweet IPU! The goofballs are calling EDTA an "amino acid," as if it had any real kinship to the alpha-amino acids that make up proteins! That's one of two things: 1) Profound and thorough ignorance of chemistry past the freshman community-college level, or 2) Deliberate and malicious LYING. And yes, one could properly call EDTA an "amino acid." I've never heard it referred to like that in 35 years of being a chemist, though. And your blood goes through your liver continuously, whatever. There's no "bypass" available.

I'm curious. Have these poultices ever been analyzed for the substances they are supposed to be extracting? I'll bet next month's beer money they haven't. I almost wish I'd gone to L's session to see the colors that the compress turned, and then dig out my qual analysis book to see what was really there. I'll bet December's beer money that colorless EDTA complexes like those of mercury or cadmium give some kind of ugly color when the quack naturopath gets her hands on them.....and she can say "Look at the toxins! $45.00, please!"

The colon being the best place to absorb EDTA because the lower and middle hemorrhoidal veins BYPASS the liver and do not undergo first pass metabolism, makes it sound quite equal to IV EDTA. Some of the other oral chelation products are absorbed by the bloodstream first but on the first pass through the liver. This makes Detoxamin not necessarily more absorbable but the colon a better place for EDTA absorbtion. Your lady friends poultice too bypasses the livers first pass metabolism as does the more expensive EDTA IV given by integrated medical doctors. =========================================================== Almost all the blood from the rectum makes its way to the superior hemorrhoidal veins, a tributary of the portal system. The lower and middle hemorrhoidal veins BYPASS the liver and do not undergo first pass metabolism, therefore the EDTA in Detoxamin chelation suppositories is not being filtered through the liver first, making the EDTA more productive in Detoxamin chelation suppositories cache:xtn_-UY3DkcJ - Google Search:< !--UB http://www.detoxamin.com/...n&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us --> Detoxamin EDTA Chelation Therapy | The EDTA Gold Standard"> Error 404 (Not Found)!!1 arch?q=cache:xtn_-UY3DkcJ: Detoxamin EDTA Chelation Therapy | The EDTA Gold Standard< !--UE--> Edited by reversespin, : Could someone shorten the link, thank-you in advance, etc... How about a real doctor? An integrated medical doctor is a real doctor can write prescriptions, x rays, blood tests, etc...
