I've got trouble with it.
I'm got self-diagnosed minor insomnia myself. Sometimes I can't sleep till about 1; usually because I've spent the last 4 hours with shameless hoods like myself, doorbell ditching or otherwise raising hell in the neighborhood . After which I go into the computer room and argue theology with learned layman and experienced scientists alike. Quite a contrasting lifestyle, but it's fun.

Seriously, do you guys ever sleep?
Yeah, in the morning at about 7 am, when I get home from working all night.

Not sure what the time difference between Australia and EDT is though.
Australian Eastern Standard Time is GMT + 10 hours. Central standard time is GMT + 9.5 hours. Western standard time is GMT + 8 hours. Things are simple at the moment as daylight saving has finished in those states which implement it.

Nice link, Chiroptera! Thanks!
Also, Lam, I just realized that I didn't actually answer your question. I'm afraid I'll have to answer with a question, though. Sleep? What's that?
Seriously though, I do, but my sleeping pattern oscillates rather sporadically. I'll sleep well for a week or two, then for no apparent reason, I'll have a couple of weeks (or more) when I generally don't sleep by night at all.
During these periods, I usually catch up during the day. Well, either that or go completely insane from having had no sleep, I guess. I've gone close a couple of times but it hasn't happened yet. On the other hand, if it had, how would I know? Hmm...

Only in cities and above 4,000 feet. Boise is nicknamed "The City of Trees" not because it has more trees than any other city in America, but because it sticks out like a sore thumb in the middle of the desert.

Moving... North?
I suppose I can't say much about my posting times since I've hardly ever posted. However, I can say that my "observing, lurking" times tend to be from 8-11ish pm Central and whenever other times I can manage to weasel onto a computer during school.
As for the Northwest states seceding? I can't see a reason why Minnesota would care? Heck... can we join you?
Now.. if Jesse Ventura seriously runs for pres in 2008, I am SO moving to Canada!

If Canada's so f'ing great, why does all their money come down here? I get Canadian coins from banks, even.

Well, heck, it seems better than Minnesota about right now.
I would have to agree with you Crashfrog. I get pretty annoyed when I get Canadian coins back from stores and the banks as well. They are ripping us off!

Cheap Money

Since the coins are worth about 1/3 less but many machines probably pass them (ours pass american coins) you should be able to guess why they run downhill.

Well, you've seen the new $20? Right? Of course. Doesn't it seem like American currency is starting to look like Mexican currency? Gee.. what's next? We are already sharing with our neighboring countries, might as well move to the monopoly money next.

You should come to South Texas.
From September until about March the Canadian coin is more common than teh Peso down here. Even most of our radio stations carry the Canadian News and all the clerks in the stores speak Canadian.
