My post was quite specific to cookies question.
"Significant other" along with sexual, convenient ect.
Please explain to me how your responses were on point.

Wrong, the first section of your post was to u can call me cookies op. Then you went on to state

It is only possible to love two people at the same time by intention.
If this is about a relation with a significant other, the your are saying, very poorly, that I can love my wife and one other like I love my wife,or my wife can love me and an other just as she loves me. I did not think of this, in fact I'm not the only one to think you meant 'you can only love two people'.

No, you explain how, if you meant 'significant other' and then read my post, you thought incest instead of mistaken interpretation. How is it you thought and posted a comment that is an implication of a heinous crime?

Look to this day, For yesterday is already a dream. And tomorrow only a vision. But today We lived, makes every Yesterday a dream of Happiness and every tomorrow A vision of hope. Look well there to This day.

If you are talking about romantic love, being "in love," the kind that usually but not always has a sexual side to it, if it's real and intense there is room for only one it seems to me, just in the nature of our emotional makeup. The love of children and of friends is something else -- lots of that to go around.
Why? I personally think it gets its intensity from reciprocity -- seeing in the other's face the same feelings for you that you have for him/her, though it probably starts with admiring personal qualities -- personality, intellectual, physical, whatever they are, that for whatever mysterious reason are attractive to you.

Not quite. I meant she was the love of my life so far.

Re: having your cake and eating it, too
It was specific. I answered it as such.
Ok, I can understand your taking it that way. As I read the question we were asked about the nature of love, not the origin of sexual partnerships per se.
All of us have the potential for multiple partnerships, though, as my post implies.
It works better sequentially than all at at once, but we do.

Yes without a doubt. Who in their right mind willingly opens their heart to someone who is on the fence. It is not wise being someones alternative or backup plan.
All of us have the potential for multiple partnerships, though, as my post implies.
We all have the potential to do a great many things. I only speak of love in the context which cookie put forth, as a life long/lasting commitment. Anything else just falls short for me. I do not have the potential you speak of. It is by choice.

Never question my rhymes
Then I won't mention that people doesn't quite rhyme with steeples, line 9 doesn't scan, and line 12 doesn't rhyme with anything.
I also won't mention that you've got a tight rhythm in lines 1 and 2 conveying strong images. Sustain it and the whole thing could have a great sense of inexorability.
Shame to end with the narcissism, though.

I hope you understood my earlier response as an expression of empathy, Ringo.

I know. I tried to write a response, but I couldn't get it to come out right. Thank you.
Today is the anniversary of her death, by the way.
