Or rather assisted suicide. Or imposed suicide. Kind of like in a dramatization of the lovers' suicide pact between Crown Prince Rudolf and Mary Freiin von Vetsera at Mayerling, there's a question of how willing a participant Mary was in that dual suicide. In reality it happened behind a locked door with no surviving witnesses, but in that dramatization Rudolf shot Mary while she slept negating her explicit vote in the matter. Similarly, how willing a participant in her suicide is Democracy? Or is it a murder-suicide minus the suicide part? Anyway, on to Message 530 . Edited by dwise1, : added "explicit"

Was shocked to read this in the morning. The police state that there is no evidence of foul play. So if I was to hazard a guess, I would assume it might have been carbon monoxide poisoning. Nothing is certain of course until the investigation concludes.

seems there were 3 dogs, 2 were running around alive. pills discovered beside the wife's body. Hackman found fallen in bed, his fallen glasses beside him. family suspected carbon monoxide, but initial analysis said no. more info as it develops.

correction. Hackman not in his bed, but fallen in the mudroom near his cane. the pills were only described by the word "prescription".
