Are you still claiming that there were WMDs in Iraq when we invaded? With multiple reports including the British and American authorities directly stating that there were no WMDs in Iraq, are you still claiming that there were?
Rrhain Thank you for your submission to Science. Your paper was reviewed by a jury of seventh graders so that they could look for balance and to allow them to make up their own minds. We are sorry to say that they found your paper "bogus," specifically describing the section on the laboratory work "boring." We regret that we will be unable to publish your work at this time. |

So they can build weapons of mass destruction? That's the point. That's why they were here in the first place. I highly doubt they were here flipping burgers. Saying WMD Experts were/are in Iraq to do anything other build WMD is like watching a guy in a mask with a gun walk into a bank and then assume he's only there to cash a check. News Media: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory 1 negative report at a time.

We know that Iraq once had WMD, and the people that could make them, maintain them and decommission them. When Hussein stops building WMDs - the expertise doesn't evaporate; they still live in the country. The insurgents are smart enough to realize this, and they are now looking for these people with a view to employing them (or otherwise persuading them to use their expertise).

Let's assume that you are correct, that Iraq had the capability, desire and materials to make weapons of mass destruction.
That makes Iraq EXACTLY like virtually every nation in the world. Why attack Iraq for the same offenses that Egypt, Canada, Argentina, Australia, etc. etc. etc. are all engaged in?

Egypt, Canada, Argentina, Australia, etc. etc. etc. didn't use WMD on their own people or invade another country in last 30 years.

Got any captions to go with those pictures? A bit of yellow on someone's forearm isn't what I have in mind when I think of mass destruction.

Huh. Were those soldiers in New York when that Iraqi ICBM hit near them? Because as I recall, that is what we were supposed to be so afraid.
Added by edit: Can someone fix those images so the page will fit in my browser window? Edited by Chiroptera, : No reason given. I could tell you what I've read about evolution, the big-bang, super-universes, quantum foam, and all that stuff. Eventually you'd ask a question I can't answer, then I'd have to go look it up. Even If I had the time for that shit, in the end you'd ask a question science hasn't answered yet. So let's save time and skip ahead to "I don't know." -- jhuger

Call them "weapons of minimal destruction."
Finding that degraded crap was well worth 200 hojillion dollars and 3000 American lives, don't you think?

I would also imagine that if those substances were actually assembled into a workable missile (you know, the so-called "imminent threat") they would have been easier to identify and be handled properly, and those burns would not have occurred.

If those WMD that don't exist were easier to indentify and handled properly, then (insert pic) would not have occurred.
Think I found my new sig. News Media: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory 1 negative report at a time.

Maybe the "There were no WMD!" crowd would think differently if that was their arm?

Hi, Tal.
Yeah, that new sig is pretty funny in that it shows your utter lack of reading comprehension skills. However, just in case you post to a different thread and people won't realize that I actually did not say that, I'm going to have to insist that you remove it.
