Re: I feel sooooo old!!
Aha, I didn't know that, but I've not played UT. But no, theres nothing like that in CS - the nearest you get is someone pretending to be Away From Keyboard at spawn, in the hope of bushwacking someone, but thats desperate stuff and seldom works.

Or, umm, "normal", possibly. Anyway, it can be a bit of compliment when someone was sufficiently frustrated by you to consider your corpse worth shooting up
If you guys play Halo on the Xbox, there's a move you can do after you waste someone. If you line yourself up behind their corpse and twiddle the crouch button, it looks like you're...um... "defiling" their corpse.
It's an awesome diss. There's a few seconds after their death where it switches to 3rd-person so they totally see you having your way with their body. It's totally insult to injury.

Unfortunately, given my level of aptitude I would be on the receiving end more often than not...Unreal Tournament had a similar feature...you could wave, make humping motions or slap your knee in victory...I think the best part was the standard taunts...it always brings a smile to my face when you frag someone and hear "witness my perfection"

You know what someone oughtta market? A patch for these games to change the taunts, with voice over work by Bruce Campbell, so you're yelling stuff like "Who else wants a piece?!?!? Huh?!?? WHO WANTS A PIECE?!?!?" in his voice.
I tell you, it would sell like hotcakes.

If the game allows modding, that shouldn't be too hard to do.
Back in the days, a friend of mine re-recorded all alliance voices for Warcraft II. In Swedish. Turned out hillarious.

I think Bruce Campbell was in a game a few years ago...I am not sure that mods like this were not done. There were lots of mods for UT in particular. A funny one was if you had no frags you were skinny. The more you got the fatter your character got...so you had all these skinny guys running around and the fat pro's blocking doors and looking silly. There was also the introduction of an alien cow...There should definitely be a multiplayer pillow fight in the next Liesure Suit Larry game....

I think Bruce Campbell was in a game a few years ago...
He's in a few. He does the voice for the tutorials in the Spiderman movie games, and obviously he does the voice for the Evil Dead game.
The most fun one of these I've seen is James Marsters, Anthony Stewart Head, Eliza Dushku, and Nicholas Brendon doing voices for the Buffy game.

He also did the voice for the Pitfall 3D game for PS1. Very funny.

There are more celebrities doing voice work for games. The last James Bond game had several and most Star Trek games get at least a few of the regular cast to do voiceovers...maybe there should be an EvC mod for Unreal Tournament...Syamsu will run around in circles and eventually fall out of the map...Mr. Hambre will get fragged while dreaming of Eliza Dushku, crashfrog and Moose will ignore everyone else and shoot at each other, riVerRat will complain that the characters look gay.

Then Dan will kill the holy living crap out of Mammuthus for confusing him with Mr. Hambre.

Woe is me. I can't decide if I should get Star Ocean 3 or Tales of Symphonia... Short on cash at the moment, and both are somewhat similar. Reviews don't work because both has gotten top reviews.
PS. Slightly off topic: I still think that an EvC version of Quest for the holy grail would work perfectly. Maybe it would be a bit too mocking for some people, though.

What, you got dibs on Eliza Dushku or something? None of the rest of us can like her, too?
In the words of Dr. Weird (of the South Jersey shore): Gentlemen, behold!

That's it, dude. I'm casting her right into the cracks of Mount Doom. That's just unhealthy.
