HOW DO I GET THE GIRL I LOVE INTO LIKING ME???

Confidence means that I believe I'm smart; Arrogance means that I believe I'm smarter than you - I fail to see why either of these would mean I can't treat you with regard?

This technique is about quality not quantity. Obviously it only works with certain women but those happened to be the women I was always interested in (mostly, they can be characterized as "intellectual"--broadly speaking).I was having no success with the traditional aggressive approach, so eventually I learned to be more patient.However, this discussion was about what I used to do not what I do now. Agreed, but "smarter than" is a subset of "better than". General arrogance tells people that they are fundamentally better than other people, not just that they have certain superior qualities or abilities.But perhaps I am splitting hairs.

If you think you are better than everyone else, by definition, you think others are less than you, beneath you. Often it engenderes feelings of entitlement for oneself and feelings of contempt for others. This does not generally result in behavior that is respectful of others.

I think I'm better than my cat, but there are few people on this earth I'd sooner maltreat.

How can you say you are "better" than your cat?I can't see how the two of you are comparable.

Yep.Your cat can see quite well enough, in almost complete darkness, to catch a mouse without using any tools. They can also easily smell the mouse.I'll bet, without tools, you couldn't catch a mouse in broad daylight, even if you could see it. You cartainly wouldn't be able to smell it.Most of those abilities didn't have to be taught to the cat, either. You are putting a negative interpretation on a process that is actually quite benevolent and in which the female participates.Now it is true that certain terms I have used such as "technique" or "strategy" give this approach I am describing a game-like connotation, but actually to call it a game would be half-accurate.Or you can call it a subtle negotiation. That's what makes it fun.When you consider just the raw, physical aspect of sex, there's really not that much to it (to be frank). Without a certain element of imagination, it's rather disappointing. To enhance the experience many use artifical devices, such as mind-altering drugs.But there is something better than drugs: "Romance."
