This is pretty self-serving, but what the hell.
frogandrabbit is my comic. I want you to go here because nobody else does. I update it weekly. In future this will be on Tuesdays. The site's pretty rough. As you can see from the address its one of those google created ones. I just wanted to know what you thought about it - whether you found it amusing - which ones worked better or worse - which of the varying illustrative styles worked better for you - how you think it can be improved. All constructive criticism gratefully recieved. Also tell me if you hate it - as long as you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Ah also: if there is anyone out there - and I know Dan has a comic - who knows how to publicise something like this, then I'm all ears. Thanks awfully! Tusko

I'm glad you got a giggle out of it. I like having the commitment of doing one a week. I'm hoping that they will improve with practice. My ultimate goal is to do a more serious one for children when I'm more comfortable with the process.
Thanks for looking!

Ah, thanks! I'm glad you drew attention to that - at the time I spent ages wondering how I was going to make people slippers work without people saying - why is he wearing human heads on his feet? Then I gave up.
Again, thanks for looking.

It's quite funny. I liked "Bad Conscience" most, thus far. I also like how you draw the rabbit.
What's your artistic background?

and I know Dan has a comic As a matter of fact, I do! how to publicise something like this Beats the holy hell outta me. I'm terrible at promotion. Although I've found that the minor successes I've had in raising traffic have been made by identifying a group or subculture outside of comics readers that might enjoy it, and targeting them. For instance, I got my URL linked on a few Shakespeare resource sites, and posted about it on a few Shakespeare message boards. That worked pretty well for me. (ie, the site now pulls in a profit, but that profit is about enough for a carton of smokes or so a year.) On the other hand, if you try and pitch to comics fans, you're just one of fifty hojillion webcomics clamoring for attention. Find a venue where you'll be something kinda unique and quirky, rather than one more guy with a webcomic. "I know some of you are going to say 'I did look it up, and that's not true.' That's 'cause you looked it up in a book. Next time, look it up in your gut." -Stephen Colbert

You've got me interested now. How silly would I have to be to tickle your ivories? Give me some comedy reference points if you can. I'll have a go at doing some Ringo-pandering joke triangulation in my next one.
Thanks for your words - actually very nice to hear!

Yes - that makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, while you have a very clear niche for your fine cartoon, I don't. I think I may have to accept the fact that its not going to set the world on fire* - but I'll keep plugging away because I like having the outlet.
Thanks! *In terms of site clicks, at current rates I should be able to afford a postage stamp on or around the year 2012.

Why you old flatterer - thanks! As an off topic aside - what makes you laugh - both generally, and specifically in terms of comics? ’’’ I think is great, though some sound more convincingly like dreams than others.

Tusko writes: As an off topic aside - what makes you laugh - both generally, and specifically in terms of comics? It's a little scary that riVeRraT and I laugh at the same things. Sometimes I go through the Yellow Pages looking at the headings at the top of the pages:
quote: Maybe that's why DietSaw™ appeals to me. In general, it's the silly details that make me laugh, not the overall story. For me, DietSaw™ would work as a single panel. Help scientific research in your spare time. No cost. No obligation. Join the World Community Grid with Team EvC
