I downloaded the latest version of Java, and was able to load the chat applet in Internet Explorer. The applet still didn't load properly in Firefox though. A blue progress appeared in the chat applet, but it would stay there indefinitley.

HELP!!

I can't get into chat. I get a grey box and when I hover my mouse over the edge I get a very brief message in the status bar which says

load:class Client not found

It's happened before and seemed to sort itself out. Someone suggested it was an applet prob, but I don't have a clue!

I can't find the bug reporting thread, at least not one that's open.

Hi Percy. I described the problem in Message 96 and RAZD suggested a different browser, but that made no difference. Last time the problem went away by itself. I have no idea what's going on.
