I'd still rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving across a bridge with Ted Kennedy.
I very much doubt you are Ted Kennedy's type, so you should be safe.

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then

They've got Janine Turner!
Well if one actually noticed, one of the things they did was choose a group of relatively younger women for the reps, and a bunch of relatively (well almost objectively) older women for the dems. Let's see how ugly a shot of janine turner we can get once she reaches old age. Wrinkles and sagginess happen to everyone, and increase the chance of a really bad picture being taken.
Although I understand why Tal's joke isn't exactly "fair", it was a joke after all. I have to say the pictures on both sides (with schraf's addition) are pretty scary... and funny. Maybe someone has some bad shots of independents?
AbE: Oh yeah I should note, that the "good looking" dems are way overpowering the "good looking" reps at this point. Tal better produce more or they lost my vote.

You should have posted a picture of his opponent in the last election. The choice was obvious, even for a guy.

Re: forgot to include this guy
Bringing it back to humor, I loved Jon Stewart's election night comment on Obama vs. Keyes. It went something to the effect of, "88% of the vote went to Barack Obama, while Alan Keyes took only 11%... which just goes to show that 11% of the people in Illinois wear tin-foil hats and wet themselves."

Keeping it on the subject of Jon Stewart humor and Illinois politics, did you see that Blagoyevich (Ill. gov for those not in the know) did not realize that the Daily Show was a comedy show and was startled by the questions posed to him?
Can someone so unhip be left in charge of our state?

Re: forgot to include this guy
Yeah, as Schraf sorta hints at, I'm just left with the impression that Blagojevich's handlers really hate him.

uh, no
yeah, but George Clooney trumps Janine Turner any day.
I'm sorry, but this is wrong. There is something you may not know about George--he has a chromosomal defect. An arm from one of his X chromosomes is missing, making it look more like a "Y". Because of this condition he has thick dark hairs growing out of every orifice of his body, he belches often and loudly, and when driving alone he has one index finger planted firmly in his nose. In addition, he has an "outie" where there should be an "innie"--and I'm not talking about belly buttons. None of those conditions is in any way attractive.
Janine Turner's chromosomes are so perfect that to be near them will make you cry.
