I think it's called "Libido". Caution can easily be vetoed by passion in the heat of the moment.
It doesn't eliminate the risks, but disregards them. Denial is a strong but irrational emotion. Couple this with the invincible feelings of youth...
...I know I did. Several hundred times...with no diseases and no regrets.
Rock on !

Here's an analogy: gotta test drive before you buy the car.
Not only is it a sin, you risk getting STD's and getting or making some one pregnant! There is NO SUCH THING AS SAFE SEX!!!!!!!
You're right, there is no such thing as safe sex; most call it safer sex and try to get kids to do likewise.
They did a study a while ago in which they took a sperm and a AIDs virus and lined them up next to each other. They kept making the image bigger and bigger until the sperm was about a couple inches long and the virus was about the size of a pencil point! STD's wouldn't be so epidimical if everyone saved sex. It's worth the wait! God made it to be special! Think about when you ask or are asked to be married, what do you say? Oh, by the way, I have Genital Herpies and you'll probably get it too? How romantic. Save it!

I'm a virgin by choice (although being in college and having the face of a gargoyle doesn't help much). Quit lecturing me. You sound just like my youth pastors.
STDs also wouldn't be so epidemic if everyone killed themselves or everyone never had sex at all (there ARE divorces, you know!). That would also get rid of all human diseases, too, if you think about it, including all forms of cancer. WHY DO PEOPLE LIVE?!?!
Heheh... bringing up dead topics is fun.

I've actually gone looking for their website and failed.
Bet they're a fun crowd to be around.

I'm not a virgin, but I'm not having sex before marriage.
Confused? Well I'm not ever going to get married, so whatever I do, it's not before marriage.

Well up until the last year or so being married incurred a tax penalty. That is in the US btw. Even now there is no tax benifit.

From what I can remember, there's little evidence that Mary M. was a whore. It seems that Paul(?) who was the primary writer about Mary was less than thrilled to have a woman in power so he sought to destroy her.
If I remember things correctly it seems that Mary M. had a profound influence on Christ. Some of the bretheren, many whom I really think were homosexuals, did not like the fact that Christ appeared more as a liberal Rabbi with women in authority.

Was it you who did the pushin?
Put the stain upon the cushion?
And the footprints on the dashboard upside down?
If you’ve been near my Rebbeca,
With your dirty little pecker!
I’ll have you kicked right outa town!
It was me who did the pushin,
Put the stain upon the cushion,
And the footprints on the dashboard upside down,
Ever since I shagged yer daughter,
I’ve had trouble passing water,
So I suppose it’s even all around!
From Jasper Carrot or something or other
