I may be wrong, but I don't think you'll be trshed for this, because of these important words:
I don't blame anyone for this. So often we hear those with a particular faith lambast others as deluded or blind or inadequate or just plain bad if they do not share that faith. Your liberal attitude appears, from this, to be quite different - I don't see you being trashed for it, unless by some who would prefer you to be more intolerant.
