Let me break it down for you, I am on topic, it is a big topic, creation.
Sir, it seems to me your topic is the museum.
If you wish to discuss creation, please, feel free to do so.
In the appropriate thread.

Re: How Sweet it is!
How narrow is God? How narrow is the concept of creation by God, as outlined in the bible? No one cares about some building as such, the whole idea is what it stands for. If that cannot be discussed in your narrow opinion, too bad.

Well, it seems wrong to you then. The topic is the concept behind what the building stands for. Creation belief as taught in the bible.

Re: How Sweet it is!
Well it's not on topic here. And also in the science threads participants are expected to debate the evidence and provide support for their position
Exactly.
Should you wish to discuss "creation", there are plenty of other threads that discuss just that!

Are you claiming that the science threads are based on evidence? If so, what parts of the evidence? All of it, or just the narrow, piddly little cultish bits of fleshly stuff they chose there??

The "Flying Spagetti Monster" is off-topic...
... unless you can come up with a damn good reason for otherwise.
The topic is pretty broad, but let us focus on the "Museum" part. Every message should have some connection to the creationism MUSEUM.

It really helps moderators figure out if a topic is disintegrating because of general misbehavior versus someone in particular if the originally non-misbehaving members kept it that way. When everyone is prickly and argumentative and off-topic and personal then it's just too difficult to tell. We have neither infinite time to untie the Gordian knot, nor the wisdom of Solomon.
There used to be a comedian who presented his ideas for a better world, and one of them was to arm everyone on the highway with little rubber dart guns. Every time you see a driver doing something stupid, you fire a little dart at his car. When a state trooper sees someone driving down the highway with a bunch of darts all over his car he pulls him over for being an idiot.
Please make it easy to tell you apart from the idiots. Source

The evidence for what the creation museums teach has not been discussed here that I have seen. They only debate with such a small portion of the evidence in the science forums I have no interest in them. The whole picture has to be discussed or there is no debate, just a 'show trial'!

If that cannot be discussed in your narrow opinion, too bad.
It is not my opinion that matters. It is that of the admins.
Here is your OP in its entirety:
First we had the one in the US. Now, another one in Canada. I would not be surprised if many in different states and countries opened up over the next decade or so.
I think this is a good thing. A great thing. Long overdue.
Not because all the science is perfect, any more than it might be for the evolution proponents, but, because children deserve faith.
I plan to recommend both museums, and any more than spring up.
You will note that nowhere is "creation" mentioned.
Here is the rule I mentioned earlier, from the Forum Guidelines:
When introducing a new topic, please keep the message narrowly focused. Do not include more than a few points.
Stay on topic or risk the wrath of the admins.

Re: How Sweet it is!
The evidence for what the creation museums teach has not been discussed here that I have seen
then bring the evidence in, you expect us to do your homework for you? Read RAZD's thread, (Message 1), and discuss/refute the evidence he has presented with some of your own.
The whole picture has to be discussed or there is no debate, just a 'show trial'!
Then join the debate, staying out of it and lobbing tomatoes isn't doing your side any good.
As for the topic of this thread: Living in Alberta I've seen many letters to the editor of my local paper about this "museum". All the creationism supporters have are the same old debunked arguements and reccomend spokespeople/hucksters like convicted tax cheat Kent Hovind.
