For several recently ex-communicated EvC Christians
There was a young Southern Baptist
So shy, he had never been kissed
So, frustrated in love
His thoughts turned up above
And he became a creationist
One fine day, he joined EvC
Typed his thoughts for the world to see
He made a big hit
Spouting non-stop sh*t
Gish galloping wild and free
Soon came the inevitable day
Reason went completely away
The poor little sod
Has decided he’s God
But we all know it’s really just R”
(“Sod” isn’t cheating to rhyme here in the U.K.) Sod - Wikipedia(disambiguation)

for all the old f***s
we all have fun at EvC
typing posts for the whole world to see
we can type what we think
and create quite a stink
and then wonder was it you or me?

There are some who post in gibberish,
Or take liberties with Englerish,
But it's pretty impressive
(Some might say obsessive)
When a thread is all in Limerish.

creepy folk should realize
we need not capitalize
it is their fault
they whine for nought
and should just buy new eyes

If your Shift key is bust,
Then our eyes must adjust.
The words are important.
Even if they're discordant,
They can be decyphered, I trust.

To hit the shift for some's a strain
An almighty tiresome pain
But then they could
And surely should
Just buy another brain

When writing on limerick verses,
I remember the joke about ursus.
If my rhymes ain't the best,
They may still pass the test
As long as they're no worse than yourses.

The rhymes can't get worse than mine
And I think that yours are devine
As for ursus the bear
I just couldn't care
So long as your poetry's fine

For them as doesn't know it...
If we're out in the woods (just us two)
And a bear tries to catch us for stew,
I don't have to be fastest
As long as you're lastest.
(I have to be faster than you.)

Creationists come here saying "god,
don't you see how incredibly odd
this debate can be
why can't you see
evolution is incredibly flawed"
The evolutionists in their turn
say what the creos need to learn -
when properly applied
the theory hasn't lied -
and the truth is their only concern

If this thread ever reaches its max,
We're all likely to have heart attacks.
For a little rhyme
Is okay s'm the time,
But not also if content it lacks.
Now some might say that they post gold,
And for them our hands we must fold.
Give them a prayer,
Not a blank stare,
And hope that it can save their soul.
For there once was a young man named ,
Now you might think his name was bizzare,
Though crazy he was,
He'd post just because,
He was too young to get into the bar.
And so one day a man from up-state,
Decided his name he did hate.
Said change it you must,
Or I won't let you post,
And so the alias of Jon he did make.

There was a young man called Ringo
A true lover of the lingo
All through the night*
Limericks he would write
He never could let a good thing go
*(It's 2:00 am here)

Re: For them as doesn't know it...
But this is what bluegenes didn't know
Was that in Canada time moved quite slow
And though living south
Jon opened his mouth
And said it was only 8:20 or so.

Re: For them as doesn't know it...
But bluegenes to Canada has been
And to all the time zones between
Canadians aren't slow
They just get too much snow
And thus slip behind, it would seem

Gentlemen, your standard is here.
As of yet, you are nowhere near
to the very high caliber
(what do you say? Ringo's a "her"?)
of the words of your poetic peer.
