The Orange Catholic Bible contains the Bible, the Koran, and many other religious texts. Gurney quotes from Revelation when describing the Baron (compares him to the Dragon).
I saw your Golden Path thread but was in the middle of A-level marking. I was too distressed by grade-inflation to comment

Re: Wouldn't it invalidate...
I'm still confused as to why an alien landing should invalidate "a big part of the literal Bible". Unless you hold to a "if it's not in the Bible it doesn't exist" belief, I don't see the problem. Of course, it makes the theology much more interesting... I could regard some PNG tribes as being more isolated from Christ than a space-faring bunch of molluscs from alpha C. They've got more chance of catching a Billy Graham rally than the natives

"was"? Ahh, you mean you don't teach any more... retired? You must be one of those really bad teachers. Today's teachers are much better, which is why the results are so much better. You aught to be ashamed of yourself. And don't think that this is just my opinion. This is what the government says about you.
BTW, did you ever teach the topic "lying to the public from a position of authority"?
