Well, kendemyer posted some
links supposedly about mutations. Since he is not allowed to start new subjects until he begins to address the topics he already has opened, I'll respond here, where he can't get at me. (Aren't I a stinker?)
After skimming briefly, three of the links seem to be a rebuttal of Goldschmidt's hopeful monster theory. Since very few people take this idea seriously, these are irrlevant to the discussion.
The other starts off with the statement:
A mutation is damage to a single DNA unit (a gene).
This is false. You can have gene duplication, even chromosomal duplications, as well as deletions. So right off the bat, the author demonstrates some incompetence.
Now, kendemyer, how about continuing the
debates that you have already started?
