What classes should be taught in school, and WHY

What classes should be taught in school, what classes are unnecessary, and WHY? I want to have a discussion of school curriculum in general, with the underlying question being "what is school for anyway?"All discussion of the underlying question should be addressed via concrete proposals of what set of classes are needed in schooling (especially ones we don't have), and what set of classes should be cut out because we don't need them (and we want to make room for new ones)?BenThis message has been edited by Ben, Friday, 2005/11/18 08:23 AM
