Here is an interesting viewpoint on how the origin of life might not be so surprising. The idea is that the selected organizations are more efficient at radiating away energy. Entropic increase has an ally from certain organizations, whether it be alive or just a snowflake.

Not so sure about this yet. It is true that I have regarded certain organizations in nature as being against the random expectations, like a section of a rocky beach that somehow has collected thousands of smoothened, rounded rocks 2-3 inches across, all together, while a few feet away on either side we get back to the jumble of everything or a sandy beach from other better-known forces.
