We all know that the discussion on EvC is complicated and that arguments are rooted in deep (metaphysical) underpinnings and are based on diverse argumentation principles that remain hidden. Therefore it is hard to find common ground and we end up fighting from our own familiar comfort zones. I think it would be a step forward to discuss how we can make sense of this discussion. What are relevant arguments for you? What is reasonable/unreasonable? On what argumentation principles should this discussion be based? What are the differences in argumentation between C's and E's? How come? Is there common ground? Where?
I hope you agree with me that this would enhance our insight into the debate's topic and into each other's viewpoint.
