LOL! whats the matter with my post? it has always interested me why some primative snakes have pelvic bones. and modern snakes don't have them. i'm wondering if primative snakes are a living link to lizards. help me out here i'm a noob. Where do "boids" enter into this? If there's something you'd like to debate then you need a thread proposal that outlines the subject and your position. If you're just asking a question then post it to the Coffee House forum. If a debate develops I'll move the thread.

boids are primitive snakes of the boa and python group that have pelvic stuctures. modern snakes like colubrids for example do not have pelvic structures. the pelvises of modern snakes have disapeared during the millions of years of their evolution. i think i would be better off as a lurker here rather than a participant. no offence but most of this site is way way over my head. Topic and message 1 bad in several ways
You do have a good idea for a topic theme there. Snake evolution has not been covered much if at all at this forum. That said...
- Absolutely worthless topic title. The title should have content that defines the topic theme. A slightly expanded message 1 content would have been a pretty good topic title.
- Message 1 is far too brief. If you had added the material of your messages 3 and 5 to 1, then you would be starting to get to adequate content. Message 1 should include your introductory material and your position/opinion concerning the data (or something like that).
- You're shift key impaired. It's fundamental good writing style to start sentences and proper nouns with upper case letters. Someone consistently not doing such REALLY irritates me, and I would reject the topic for that alone.

Explaining what boids are helps make sense of your opening post. What Adminnemooseus meant in his post was that if you make a few simple improvements then your thread proposal can be reconsidered for promotion. You can either edit your Message 1, or post a new message to this thread to serve as the opening post of the debate.
