Folks, I thought you may be interested in a video clip which has recently been added to Google Video:
Error 404 (Not Found)!!1
This is a 4 1/2 minute excerpt from a 1994 film entitled 'Meher Baba, The Awakener' which documents Meher Baba's explaination of creation, evolution and the purpose of all life.
Enjoy!
Tim

If you wish to rework your opening post into an appropriate topic opener, please reply to this message and let me know when you are ready for me to review your topic again.
In the meantime, I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the functions of EvC by using the Practice Makes Perfect Forum or posting in existing threads.

Pay particular attention to our Forum Guidelines and all will go well.
Again welcome and fruitful debating. Purple

Curious to see what people on these boards think of Meher Baba's cosmology.
In his book, 'God Speaks' (published in 1955 by Dodd, Mead & Co.) Meher Baba presents a detailed description of creation and evolution. Although in some ways his perspective parallels that of Darwin, it is a far more complete explaination of evolution. Evolution in Meher Baba's view is necessitated by the development of consciousness. Thus, form follows consciousness, and not, as in Darwin's theory, the other way around.
