I see no change in your OP.
Pointing to a dictionary does not define the way
you are using the word. For many words (and faith is certainly one of them) there are several different defintions.
For example, faith has a handful of definitions with rather different meanings.
If you pick one of them then there is no point to this topic at all because, as you suggest, everyone has "faith" and, by your standards, are, I guess "religious". Therefore "So what?" and the discussion is over.
English words mean many things even in their denotations and much, much more in their connotations. You have to be clear. We get a lot of talking at cross purposes here just because people aren't using an agreed upon definition.
Your comment on "church and state" hints that you yourself may be equivocating (look it up) and the meaning of faith and religion which makes for a poor discussion.
