This is a chllenge to those members and viewers that say a biblical flood actually happened. I would like these people to list just what is meant by fountains of the deep and windows of heaven.
Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
Once we establish a foundation of the meaning of this verse to be agreed upon by those believers who wish to participate then we will examine the consequences of those assumptions and see if we can predict how the result of such an event
must be evidenced on Earth. In other words the people who make the claim that this flood occured will have to put their model to the test against the actual findings from the physical sciences.
I wish to allow believers the chance to present their case and to apply scientific criteria to see if they can accurately descibe these consequences in the real world,which after all is the only way to test such things.
This would be best in miscellaneous since we will not be merely confining ourselves to geological science as pertains to the flood.
