Yup, I would say that's a pretty good tally of the wisdom of EvC and inferences to be made therefrom. I disagree with most, but may agree with a few of them depending on what is meant.
4) By virtue of our consciousness we give other things meaning.
I think this is pretty much true.
7) The universe is very big, devoid of any inherent meaning beyond that which we give it.
I think I agree with this.
8) I am mortal.
Your body is but your soul isn't.
9) One day I will die, the universe will loose a neuron, and all my desires will cease to exist.
Um, afraid not.
10) God is a man made idea.
Some gods are definitely man-invented, but there IS a Creator God who made it all.
12) Humans are soft. We are not the most resilient of creatures.
Not sure what this means, but I might agree with it if I did.
13) Religion can be dangerous.
Depends on the religion. So can political philosophy be dangerous, so can science, so can one charismatic human being who thinks he's a god and gets political power on the level of a Caesar/Hitler be dangerous. So can your next door neighbor if he goes through a bad time and decides to take it out on his neighbors or fellow employees or ex-wife or his children or people he shoots at random as they gas up at the pump or drive down the highway.
15) People will believe just about anything you tell them.
That makes me laugh. Tell me the last time anybody believed what you told them -- about anything important that is.
18) Our thoughts, fantasies, dreams, may be just as real as the physical world on some level.
Possibly more real. C. S. Lewis thought so.
20) I am an Organism, and when I die, my body will rot and smell very bad.
Very true of your body, but not your soul, though I suppose in some sense even a soul can smell bad, but unfortunately that's not the same thing as losing consciousness.
