Hm... I was just peering around the forum and stopped to read minnemooseus's signature:
Professor, geology, Whatsamatta U
--I think I've missed it for this whole past year or something but is it just me or does the name seem just a tad bit conspicuous?

The great irony of it all, is that I myself have never realized the "Rocky and Bullwinkle" connection.
I thought (and still think) that "Whatsamatta U" is a phrase I pulled out of a Marx brothers movie. I commented on this at http://EvC Forum: evolution? -->EvC Forum: evolution?.
In the Marx brothers context, "Whatsamatta U" is probably NOT in any reference to any educational institution. I think it's "what's the matter, you?", as spoken by Chico Marx.
I did grow up, and currently do live approximately 150 miles from International Falls (aka "Frostbite Falls"), Minnesota.
