Male studies

i've seen lots of classes about women studies... and not to be dominant (but i am a male) but were are the male studies? SERIOUSLY!!
time to rant
when a herd of elk are observed the females all gather around the most attraktive male... so the desired male's genes are passed on; however, you do not see that with our species.
our species (acording to evolution) evolved out in the african savan were everything was eatin us like crazy... we did not have such a secure niche, as does the elk. so we could have gone extinct with a sudden change that was unfavorable to us... but the male gender of our species allows our species to have a diverse gene pool to compensate for our weak niche. in order to keep the gene pool divers the males had to become aggressive and possesive when it came to sex... because if you have only the desired males reproducing with all the females then our gene pool would not be divers. so the males would group up and set controls so that the females will have to mate with the others as well.
these controls are still around like in the middle eastern muslum countries women have less rights... even in the developed countries women are still treated lower than males because males have not lost that drive that causes them to be aggressive and possesive over females.theres my rant lets hear yours.
