I like evolution. I juts makes sense. Transiteonals, morpholigical body types, genetic drift, natural selection...it all just fits together. Why is even any more argement about it?

"I like evolution. I juts makes sense. Transiteonals, morpholigical body types, genetic drift, natural selection...it all just fits together. Why is even any more argement about it? " --I like evolution too, the most interesting topic of study in my opinion. I in the most part prefer evolutionary geology though. --I think you mean phylogenetically implied morphologies? What is a Transiteonal? Do you mean 'transitional'? I do not take up the argument, even as a YEC, that 'transitionals don't exist'. It is in my opinion, a sophists argument. And genetic drift & natural selection are not processes which take macro-evolutionary steps to have an effect on populations. So I'm sure your use of the word evolution here can be summed up as none other than a change in allelomorphic frequencies over time. Anyone who has studied evolution does not argue against this, Young or Old earther. ------------------

Katabhn, My spelling leaves much to be desired, too, as does my punctuation. Have you considered running stuff through a spell checker before posting? It makes it easier for all concerned, & lends greater credibility to your posts. Mark ------------------ Occam's razor is not for shaving with.

You can respond to my post again if you like, seeing it in this new light. ------------------

Oh well, each to his own. Creation makes much more sense to me I'm afraid. ;-) cheers Katabhn

"Oh well, each to his own. Creation makes much more sense to me I'm afraid. ;-)" --Not to me, funny though how I would still consider myself a proponent of YECism? I think I remind myself of Gould sometimes. Theres more to be worked out within the YECists position than you may think or know, I've always maintained that "...YEC's need to begin working on their own hypothetical inconsistencies before criticizing the systematics of others, [in particular, the Theory of Evolution] though there is of course a critique where critique is due." From my description. We need good research, that there is so much to be done just makes it that much more exciting. -------------------

You have indicated on your[?] site that you love to study Geology, Biology, Chemistry, History, Math, and Physics, and "have the ambition to become an amateur scientist, and hopefully will make some scientific discoveries". You may want to consider affiliating yourself with my organization? The OYSI. Read some of the pages there and think it over, if you mean what you say it is possible that you would be a nice addition. -------------------
