My wife and I are considering going to TAM 6 (The Amazing Meeting 6) in Las Vegas, June 19-22. Anyone else thinking of going? Here's the webpage:

I'll be there ... if that's an incentive.

Hey, alright! We've never been before, have you?
I'm surprised there's been no interest. Maybe people don't realize who's going to be speaking/presenting/performing there, so here's a list:
  • The Amazing Randi (host)
  • Neil DeGrasse Tyson (keynote)
  • Penn & Teller (speaking and performing)
  • Adam Savage (Mythbusters)
  • Michael Shermer (Skeptic Magazine, et. al.)
  • Christopher Hitchens (author)
  • PZ Myers (biologist, recently made the news when he was prevented from attending a screening of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed)
  • Richard Wiseman (psychology researcher, magician, author of Quirkology)
  • Steve Novella (president, New England Skeptical Society, host of The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe podcast)
  • Phil Plait (Bad Astronomer website and book)
  • Art Benjamin's Mathemagic show
  • George Hrab/Gerydon Square show (combines humor and skepticism)
  • Penn & Teller's show
From what I've heard about it it's a very good time, and Las Vegas should be fun, too.
