Hello, I am not yet familiar with this forum, so please bear with me.
After perusing the web I came across Fred Williams' "Evolution Fairytale" forums, to which I took the bait and registered, as it seemed to overwhelmingly contain creationist and anti science perspectives, and thought I could possibly add some ballance for the more scientific points of view. How wrong I was!
A long story short, I think I had similair experiences to others here, That of the admins selectively editing and deleting any points that might give sway towards any scientific truth.
Needless to say I have been banned, and I'm afraid I later gave Fred both barrels in some private emails. I am expecting yet another hollow reply.
Anyway, interestingly the Vatican, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and a US court ruling, have clearly stated that any creationist ramblings should only be taught as a religion, and should not in any way replace science in the classroom, and which has it's own "authoritive" understandings.
This leaves Fred and Co out in the religious wildereness, not to mention the scientific one.
He must have a problem with authority if his "allegedly" Christian beliefs contradict the Vatican, the Archbishop, the US courts and all the many other thiestic or more scientifically versed authorities.
He is clearly a self appointed "big fish" in a very small pond indeed.
Looking forward to any forum related advice, and any enlightening dialogue.
Cheers
Kevin.
