Re: arachnophilia for two great posts in a row.
I'd like to second and third that nomination. Arach is really posting some great stuff in that thread. It certainly makes certain people unhappy when someone who actually knows hebrew comes along

Ohnhai's "The Problem of Restricted Binary Logic"
Author: Ohnhai Forum: Miscellaneous topics in creation / evolution Thread: The Problem of Restricted Binary LogicPost 1 Brilliantly laid out. I've been noticing a lot of this sort of problem cropping up. I've had a fuzzy logic chip installed, btw...

schraf and responsibility
message 279 of rat mothers
Yeah, it's really bad when health care professionals assume that the women seeking abortions are responsible adults, able to make sound, informed decisions all on their own. All that you've said leads me to believe that you want the culture to be your parent. Well, it isn't. Not in a democratic society, anyway. You are an adult, and you have to make your own decisions as an adult, not as a child looking to avoid responsibility at every turn.

RAZD takes down IC (again)
I know I have seen this argument before (probably by RAZD as well) but it is still the best refutation of irreducible complexity I have read. Author: RAZD Forum: Intelligent Design Thread: Can't ID be tested AT ALL?

Faith in the abstinance only thread
Message 230 Though I may disagree on a number of issues, I have to point out that this is one of the most clear and well organized posts I have seen Faith make. Well done, on topic, progressing the discussion, and respectful.

holmes in the abstainance only thread
Message 245 My main idea is that while we are certainly personal philosophical enemies, your ad hominem against my beliefs reflecting my vision of your own, we do not have to disagree on the teaching of clinical knowledge regarding the body to those who lack such knowledge. *applaud* Awesome. It is very rare that an argument tends toward common ground in this place.

the rat in 254 of why atheists don't believe
Maybe when God looks down at us, he doesn't even see all the religions. i think more people should just think about that statement for a while.

Thanks very much Jazz. I worked hard on that one to be as clear as possible.
