Claim: The zygote is not a person. Challenge: Support or oppose the position without a religious based argument.
Remember, to be clear, be short.
Took my own advice and edited the OP to delete opening paragraph as not necessary.

Irresistable Force or immovable object?
All that I can say in reply is that an egg is not a chicken. So what?
What forum would you put your topic in? Look through the forums and select the one that defines where you want to go with your assertion.

Re: Irresistable Force or immovable object?

{hearty chuckle, ???} Agreed. "So what?" may apply to many or maybe most debates.
My suggestion is "The Great Debate"
I would also like to edit the OP down to:
Claim: The zygote is not a person. Challenge: Support or oppose the position without a religious based argument.
Remember, to be clear, be short.
The lead in paragraph is really not necessary. Is that ok?
Edit: thought about the edit, then just did it.

Re: Irresistable Force or immovable object?
Legal Death, Legal Life, Personhood and Abortion
We already have a thread about these issues, that was based on an essay that RAZD wrote. I think it's at least an excellent place for you to start. You may want to respond to that thread, or read responses elicited by RAZD.
Please take a look there first. The argument presented there is detailed very well.
Claim: The zygote is not a person. Challenge: Support or oppose the position without a religious based argument.
Remember, to be clear, be short.
When posting, you should also present your position in your OP, which you do not. Not a simple statement, but an actual argument. That's missing. It's not the job of other people to support your position for you.
If you're asking a question, then you shouldn't be forwarding any "claim" in your post or your thread title. If you're taking a position, then you should support your position in your opening post.
My suggestion is "The Great Debate"
Just FYI, the "Great Debate" forum is for 1-on-1 debate only. You challenge someone to a 1-on-1 debate, and if they accept, then you request a couple of admins to oversee the debate, you establish some basic rules, and then you rumble. A winner and loser will be declared at the end.
Thanks.

Re: Irresistable Force or immovable object?
I probably oversimplified some of your posting guidelines. I will rewrite and edit the OP. Please allow a day.
Thanks for the comments.

Re: Irresistable Force or immovable object?
Take your time. I'd really encourage you to read RAZD's thread first; it was excellent in my view. It's time-consuming.
We generally keep PNTs open up to 2 or 3 weeks after their last update. And even if they get closed, you can always request them to be reopened later. So, there's absolutely no time pressure on getting this done. I always think finding out what's been discussed before is a great way to address issues in new, interesting ways, so (for a third time) I'll recommend that you do that.
And I'm glad my comments were helpful. Thanks for being so receptive.
