A Few Questions
Welcome to EvC, "Real God." Lest we get out of line, I shall, if I may, refer to you as The All-Smitey. (Long i sound) We all need not introduce ourselves since you are said to know ALL things, but why this war in Ukraine? Lots of children and mothers are dying for no reason. Can you smite Putin for us, or is this just allowing human free will to run its course? Is the Bible simply a human imagined book? If so, we have a lot of work to do getting to know you. One guy in Canada says our only mission, basically, is to give everything we have to others. Another guy in Deep South Texas tells us to throw you away. I rarely listen to humans when it comes to you, however. But of course you already knew this. If any smiting is to be done at EvC, let me be the first to be judged.These guys here are critically thinking secular humanists, by and large. If you say one word about Creationism they will turn on you...but you knew this too, eh? Finally there is another God, Mr.Deity, who is no real threat since He was once Morman. I always used to like giving a kid a chance to stay and learn, but the liklihood is that this person is no biological child and likely a hit & run. If he has any Godlike influence in his/her mind, he/she may decide to stay and discuss his/her favorite aspects of a universe holding to the mythos and reality of God. Or maybe just ask a science question.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

Who am I to not promote a message from The Real God? You are Admin. More powerful than any god, other than Percy. You know this community and its history better than most. Why promote an obvious stupidity? Are we that desperate? If, instead of instant promotion, you had asked any question or clarification we would have seen if this newbee is ready to defend his/her statement instead of dropping this one lone display of asininity. But how do we know that anything exists? Yes, yes, you can say "I think, therefore I am." But really? A fictional character in a book can say that, but it doesn't mean the character exists, other than as words on a page. And maybe not even that, if the book is in electronic form. In fact, a book in an electronic form is just a (big, complex) number. And numbers can exist even if there is no physical universe (you're welcome to check this by investigating the experimental case of no physical universe existing!) But the same thing can be said of all of us. We (and all our cats and dogs and automobiles etc. - even the sun and the moon and the stars, if you wish) could be just a bunch of electronic files in a simulation. So our universe, and all its history and its future, is represented by a number. It could be that there is nothing, no universe, nothing at all. But lots of numbers, and we are just parts of one of those numbers.
