Summation Mode ???? Can't post

New to this type of format.I'm a registered member but it keeps saying I do not have permission to post, when I try to do so, on most threads. A few of them, I have seen the message blank board appear.Similarly a message has stated numerous times that I can only post one General Comment, but then again on the same thread I am not allowed to respond to the other button.... of REPLY.Ill figure it out eventually, maybe, but some heads up would help

From what I know, there are no restrictions on a newly registered member that are not the same as any other member on the board.There are only a few Administrator only forums where no one can go but board admins.However, if you ran into a "Summation Mode" thread, then yes, there are restrictions there for everyone.When a thread gets really long, or otherwise happens to be ending for whatever reason, the admins can turn the thread into "Summation Mode." This is a mode intended for everyone involved in the discussion one last post before the thread is closed to everyone.If you did not post at all in the thread before it went into Summation Mode - You are no longer allowed to post at all to this thread.
This goes for all posters, not just new posters.If you did post in the thread before it went into Summation Mode - You are allowed 1 more post to the thread, but that's it. After that one last post, you can't post anymore to the thread either.

Thanks, in other words, long threads can be in summation mode.
But is there a denotation showing it is in summation mode on that thread, at the end or on the original page ? I didn't see any symbol, so I shall look again.IE, I should skip them, if I know it is in summation mode.But other times, on a open thread, at least it says it is OPEN, I can not post because it says, I do not have permission to post. There's no way to know when, but your posting permissions for all the major discussion forums were taken away. I have restored them. I notice you've been banned over at The Thinking Atheist, so I suggest that if a moderator makes a request that you listen.

Thanks, but I dont think there is a connection between Thinking and Athiests, to HERE or to each other. They are mutually exclusive IMO. But thats what we are HERE to discuss, and if a theory doesn't meet scientific standards, then suggest it be deleted or thrown away.OCS... Thanks for opportunity for discussion... in all forums.
